The SharePoint test data population tool (WSSDW.exe) is a capacity planning and performance testing tool that populates data for testing SharePoint deployments. The SharePoint test data population tool is available as a command-line executable program that extracts information about how to populate the server from an XML configuration file, and calls Microsoft .NET assembly: WSSDWLib.dll. “The Tool WSSDW.exe is on Codeplex and is a community supported tool, not an officially Microsoft released product. It can be downloaded here. Please don’t contact product support with any issues you may experience using the tool. This is the tool referred to on TechNet as the tool that was used to for load testing by the SharePoint Performance test team at Microsoft.
