I have been tweaking the SharePoint Buzz wordpress theme for a few days now and I have done everything that I can figure out for now. Its a bunch of borrowed code from everywhere. Too many places to name, or not even one specific site for inspiration.

FREE As In No Strings Attached

I have had enough of trying to fix its many issues and what I would like to do is offer it to everyone for download and possibly help me optimize it. I have stripped out quite a bit of SharePointBuzz.com specific code, and I havent tested the stripped down version. So I would appreciate a comment if something needs to be fixed.

What I would really appreciate is if some Wordpress / PHP expert could help me fix a few issues with this theme:

  • Slow loading (possibly because of the blog bling)
  • Blog doesn’t load on Vista and Firefox 2.0.0.1

      Oops. Thanks for pointing that out Alpesh. I’m am using quite a few Wordpress plugins and tried to strip as many as I could. Such as the heatmap plugin.

      In regards to the optimal_title error, you need to download and activate the optimal title plugin.

      Or just simply remove the line call in the header.php file.

      The optimal title plugin provides better Search Engine Optimization for your title. Definitely one of the small little changes that have a big effect on your search engine rankings!
