Just browsing around at all the wonderful blogs that have started up and I have to say, its refreshing. SharePoint 2007 has definitely become one of the most welcomed versions of SharePoint. This might have been caused by the blogosphere, global community or just the great features that SharePoint 2007 offers; who knows and who cares why! Today I just wanted to share some good links with all the SharePoint Buzz readers. I want to thank you for your continuing to visit my blog, and here’s my gift to you:
- MVP Joris Poelmans aka JOPX has a bookmark worthy post on [his] favourite SharePoint 2007 tools
- MikeysBlog by famed MVP Michael Gannotti has another great link post with links to some of the best Business Data Catalog (BDC) Resources, Tools, and Lab around.
- Ton Stegeman has a 4 series posts on Using Analysis Services data in Excel Services. Its well written and concise as he discusses preparing the AD for Kerberos, preparing the MOSS server, create and test an Excel sheet and using Windows 2003 Server constrained delegation.
- If your a beginner and want to walk through some WSS Installation and Configuration via Virtual Lab.
- Want a complete, self-paced training course with a VPC image containing Team System software? Well Microsoft provides just that as a download. Coming in at 5GB, Download Visual Studio Team System Basics Training.
- Microsoft teaches you how to secure Groove with administrative authentication systems, configuring network settings, implenting SSL, and enabling role-based access control in the Download How to Help Secure a Groove Manager Web Site or if that’s not enough why not a Video on SoapBox titled Microsoft Groove and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007: Better Together on how to use Groove in conjunction with SharePoint for your enterprise needs.
- Alpesh pointed me to a great post on Creating MOSS 2007 Theme by Point To Share
- Found this great MOSS Security excel worksheet MOSS 2007 OTB Permissions.xls on SharePoint 2007 security via MOSS 2007 Security Permissions

I am very people oriented. But when i see such a poor attempt at being orignal and when i see you taking credit for other peoples work. You should be ashamed of yourself. The only reason I even paid a visit to your site is because I was curious to see how bad you have gotten with this. Its plain to see you are trying to put out great info but its other peoples info. Id be glad to read some orignal posts that you have created. I am always interested in finding decent talent in our small world but you have to realize that you are becomming a very popular person (and not in a good way) in this very small community. Take some advice and do some original work. It will take you farther.
If you have a complaint about my professionalism I would suggest you take it directly to the MVP’s and ask there opinion.
Enjoy.
