Pownce Invites

If anyone is interested, I have 6 Pownce invites available.  The application is not SharePoint related; however, I’m trying to get on the bandwagon with some of the latest apps and thought I’d share this one.  Pownce is another Twitter competitor and I was intriguied with the application enough to actually try it out.

Pownce is a way to send stuff to your friends. What kind of stuff? You can send just about anything: music, photos, messages, links, events, and more.

Scoble takes the words out of my mouth on why do we care about this?

  • It’s prettier than Twitter
  • It has more features than Twitter
  • And it was done by Kevin Rose of Digg fame

If you’d like to read some reviews before hand, check these keeping track of the Pownce Reviews.   What do I think?  I have used it for 5 mins and cant really give a proper review but thought it was cool service that others might want to give a spin.   You can use Pownce either thru the website or via the AIR application.       I would appreciate it to get an invite! Several times I signed up at Pownce, but no response at all.

      Just like to drop a note that your blog on Sharepoint is most interesting and really useful even to a non-tech person like me.

      I’ve already recommended all my colleagues in the tech department to bookmark/RSS your site. :-)

      I just wanted to mention that all of you seemed to have already requested Pownce to provide you with invites. I have tried sending you all invites and am unable to as it looks like you are in the queue to get invites from Pownce.

      If you would like to provide a different email address instead of waiting around for Pownce to give you an invite, leave a comment with another email address
