SharePoint User Interface Tools

Branding SharePoint is not an easy task, although the assistance of tools does help ease and allow us Designers to produce beautiful solutions.  Here are the tools that I use throughout my consulting projects where SharePoint Branding is the task at hand:

  1. Microsoft SharePoint Designer 2007 - favorite tool of SharePoint designers with WYSIWYG editor and integration with SharePoint its a must have.
  2. Balsamiq Mockups - an amazing tool that I have recently started using.  Its a must have for any business user that needs to create web site layouts to communicate .  I’m so happy with it that I’m currently giving away a licensed copy to one lucky commenter @ July SharePoint Buzz Giveaway.

  3. Codeplex
