SharePoint Buzz is starting to give back to the community and started off by giving away a FREE SharePoint 2007 book. The contest recieved some flack from the MVPs and a few other visitors, but hey its all good. The chances of winning a free SharePoint 2007 book was much better than other contests. In total, I received 5 entries and for each of the names, I printed their name and threw it into a hat and randomly picked one from the lot. Jeff plans on implementing SharePoint 2007 sites for the Wyandotte Public Schools (which includes 10+ elementary and public schools in the Detroit area). Unforunately, Jeff wanted to win Essential SharePoint 2007 but it has yet to be published. I will be getting a hold of Jeff to find out which book he would like to order. I do hope our other entrants continue to visit SharePoint Buzz to learn more about SharePoint 2007.
